  1. Hello,

As a master’s student, I’m currently grappling with understanding the calculation process employed by the template.
I’m specifically trying to comprehend how the values in the “(+/-)” column are calculated in both the “Summary” worksheet and the individual worksheets such as “In1, In2, In3, In4, etc.”

Could you explain to me the methodology used within the template to compute these values?

    Many thanks.

  2. It is highly appreciated, and needs implementation of this policy .Thanking you for giving me an opportunity in this working group.

  3. Dear Klaus,
In the summary sheet, the formula in cell C65 points to the @RGGM2 array, but prints an incorrect formula. Could it be that the @RGGM2 array is not defined?

    1. Dear Attila,
sorry for my late reply, I was traveling.
RGGM2 is defined. What do you mean by “prints an incorrect formula”?

          1. C64=50%, but in C65 is error!
            I use this file: AHPcalc-2022-07-08.xlsx
I could repair it, now it’s working fine.

  4. Hi Dr Klaus,

Based on your paper entitled “Implementation of an Online software tool for the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP-OS)”, I am referring to section 3.2 – Partial judgments.

I want to know what scale (from 1 to 9) I should use if a particular requirement is not chosen to be evaluated.

I only want to give input for a particular node, not the whole node.
So, what scale should I choose for nodes that are not involved?

  5. Hi Klaus,
    1. On the excel version_summary there is p=selected participants, what it means?
    2. On the sheet_In there is a statement “once completed you might adjust highlighted comparations 1 to 3 to improve consistency, kindly explain to me
    Regards
    Felix

    1. Felix,
all explained in the pdf attached to the template. Please download the latest version, I made some corrections a few days ago.
      p = selection of participant (In1, In2, …)
      2. Inconsistent judgments on the input sheet will be highlighted, so you can adjust to be more consistent.

  6. Hi Klaus, I just saw your excel version. Do you mind to explain me about WEIGHT that we input beside the Participant name? The Eigenvector value changed if we change the weight value. Thanks so much

    1. Hi Felixianus, the weight beside the participant name will give this participant more weight of his/her judgment. A weight of 2, for example, is like two participants would have given this judgment.

  8. This template has an error when using “n” more than 8 (9 and 10) psi value on cell =k32 shown #REF! (the error is cell Z68, AA68, AA69, AC68, AC69, AC70) fix by copy cell Z67, AA67, AC67 and replace to those error cell
